Connected Apps

Connection layer, workflow, rules & exceptions

Coupa stays the system of record. APIXX reads what the process needs, coordinates the work, and writes back approved results.

Overview

Coupa sits in the procurement and supplier networks layer of the operation. Connect purchasing, supplier transactions, EDI documents and external business networks. APIXX keeps the canonical business objects, workflows, rules and exceptions; Coupa remains the system your team already uses, with approved information moving between the two through governed integration flows implemented and managed by APIXX.

The Coupa API can be supported at the connection layer; customer-specific mapping, testing and configuration are completed before the connection goes live.

Initial catalog relationships — not a guarantee that every workflow is already implemented for this system.

Common workflows

Potential workflows for this connection. Each is scoped, mapped and tested per customer before it runs in production.

  • Exchange purchase orders
  • Capture supplier confirmations
  • Exchange EDI documents
  • Synchronize invoices and payments

Supported business objects

Objects this connection is expected to carry. Not every integration supports every object.

  • Customers
  • Suppliers

  • Purchase orders
  • Inventory
  • Shipments
  • Returns
  • Invoices
  • Payments
  • Compliance cases

Connection and security

APIXX uses Nango as its embedded connection layer. Nango manages supported authentication flows and credential lifecycle, while APIXX provides the integration logic, mappings, monitoring and managed production operation.

  • OAuthCredentials are captured in the vendor’s own authorization flow and stored by the connection layer — never in the browser or in APIXX records.
  • APIXX stores only connection identifiers and safe metadata, associated with your organization and the user who authorized it.
  • Connection health, expiry and reconnection are surfaced inside the APIXX application; approved information moves through monitored integration flows.

Keep your systems. Connect the operation.

APIXX Connected Apps work with the technology your business already depends on. Connect the systems, coordinate the workflow and give your team one place to run the operation.
